Today we released our butterflies into the wilds of Knocknagor. We watched them grow from caterpillars, make their chrysalis and emerge as beautiful butterflies. Isn’t nature amazing! They have captivated the children and staff for the past few weeks. Out of 5 caterpillars, only 3 made it to the chrysalis stage. Out of the 3 we had 2 healthy butterflies and 1 unfortunately with a damaged wing. My future vets carefully placed the damaged one on a flower and the other 2 eventually flew out and away happily 🦋🦋😊
