The children of Knocknagor realise that we are going through a time that will be remembered in history.
In the future, children from all around the world will learn about what happened in the year 2020, and how we all had to keep safe by social distancing, sanitising our hands and even staying at home from school for a long period.
One day the current pupils will tell their own children, and even perhaps grandchildren, about what happened.
The time capsule documents will be completed by all children in the school and buried in a box which will be opened on Friday 5th of October 2040.
