Thank you to Roisin from Fare Share who presented an invaluable workshop on Food Waste. The children found out lots of ways we can make small changes to reduce the amount of food thrown away. They were shocked that the amount of food waste from homes in a year would fill over 2000 buses full of food. Children all received a mini recipe book to use up any unwanted food items. We got creative with cutters to design shapes on slices of bread with a final dollop of jam kindly provided by fare share.
