The children from P4 and P5 travelled to St Dympnas in Dromore to watch a play highlighting online safety. The play In the Net by Alter Ego creative Solutions was created out of a growing need to make children aware of internet safety and cyber bullying. The play was based around a girl called Dotty who had posted personal information and made mean comments about a friend. Dotty finds herself caught in the net and goes on a quest to get home. She meets icon, password, virus and uhoh who help make her aware of how to be safer online. The production was absolutely fantastic, getting the message across in a more memorable way.
